Submitting your artwork

How to upload your artwork files for proofing, what happens after you submit, and tips for getting print-ready results.

When you set up a product on Divinipress, you bring your own artwork. Here's how uploading works, what happens after you submit, and a few tips for getting the best results.

How to upload your files

  1. Browse the Catalog and configure your product.
  2. When prompted, upload your artwork. Drag and drop works, or you can use the file picker.
  3. Submit the product for proofing.

Only Admins and Designers can upload artwork and submit products for proofing. Staff order from products that have already been set up.

What happens after you submit

Your artwork goes to the Divinipress team for production checks. They'll look at bleed, color space, resolution, and flag any obvious errors. Then they prepare a visual mockup of the finished product.

When the proof is ready, you'll review it in the Platform. If everything looks right, approve it. If something needs to change, request a revision. You can upload an updated file and add notes explaining what you need.

This back-and-forth continues until you approve the proof. There's no limit on revision rounds.

A note about design services

Divinipress doesn't provide design services. You're responsible for providing your own finished artwork. Proofing covers production checks and basic issue callouts (verifying print-readiness, flagging obvious errors), but it isn't a design review.

If you need design help, connect with your Designer or a graphic design professional before uploading.

Tips for print-ready artwork

Submitting print-ready files helps proofing go faster. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Use CMYK color mode. Print uses CMYK, not RGB. RGB files can shift in color when converted, so if your design software supports it, set up your document in CMYK from the start.
  • Set resolution to 300 DPI or higher. Low-res images look blurry or pixelated in print. 300 DPI at the final print size is the standard for sharp results.
  • Include bleed. For edge-to-edge prints, extend your design past the trim line. That way, if the cut shifts slightly during production, you won't end up with thin white borders.
  • Proofread before uploading. The Divinipress team will flag obvious misspellings, but content accuracy is ultimately on you. Double-check names, dates, and contact info.
  • Send vector files when possible. Formats like PDF, AI, or EPS keep text and graphics sharp at any size, which is especially helpful for logos and text-heavy designs.

Not sure if your file is ready? Upload it anyway. The Divinipress team will let you know if anything needs fixing during proofing.
