How to place an order
A walkthrough of both ordering paths, ordering directly from the Catalog and ordering from Collections, plus what to expect at checkout.
There are two ways to place an order on Divinipress, depending on your role. Here's how each one works.
Who can place orders
Admins and Designers can browse the full Catalog, configure products, and place orders directly. Staff members order from the Collections their Team has access to.
Path A: Order directly from the Catalog
This is the quickest route if you already know what you need.
- Open the Catalog and browse by category: Apparel (screen printing, DTG, embroidery), Printed Materials, Promotional Products, or Display Items.
- Pick a product and configure it. For apparel, you'll choose a decoration method and specify details like ink colors. Other product types have their own options.
- Add the product to your cart.
- Head to checkout. Once placed, your order enters the fulfillment pipeline. You can track it from the Dashboard.
Path B: Proof first, then save to My Products
Go this route when you're setting up a product your team will reorder later. The product goes through proofing before it gets saved.
- Browse the Catalog and configure a product.
- Upload your artwork and submit the product for proofing.
- The Divinipress team prepares a proof for your review.
- Once you approve the proof, the product gets saved to My Products and added to your organization's default Collection automatically.
This is how most teams set up products for ongoing reordering. Once a product is proofed and saved, simple reorders (just picking a size and quantity) don't need a new proof.
Ordering from Collections (Staff)
Staff don't have access to the Catalog. Instead, they see the Collections assigned to their Team.
- Log in and browse the products available in your Collections.
- Pick a product and choose your quantity (and size, if it's apparel). Some products have minimum order quantities.
- Add the product to your cart and place the order.
Everything in your Collections has already been proofed and approved, so you're good to reorder without worrying about the details.
After you place an order
Your order moves through several stages on its way to you. You can check the current Order Status from the Dashboard at any time, and you'll get tracking information once it ships.
